Who we are

MediaPro Studios is the largest complex of film studios in Romania and one of the most important in Central and Eastern Europe.

Our infrastructure includes: 19 fully equipped film and TV stages 4 of which have water tanks, various workshops, approximately 100 acres of property on the shore of a lake, a park, and satellite uplink equipment. With a complete range of production services, a highly skilled labor force, competitive set construction rates, comprehensive hospitality services, 3 film crews and 5 TV crews, we consider ourselves a noteworthy destination for western filmmakers.

We are part of the MediaPro Group, the largest media consortium in Romania, which purchased the 40-year-old State-owned studios in 1998. Extensive renovation and the addition of new facilities helped our studios attain world-class standards in film production. As a result, in recent years, we have been involved in the making of famous motion pictures such as Amen, Callas Forever, Modigliani or Joyeux Noël.

MediaPro Studios is home to several other entertainment-related companies: MediaPro Pictures (the largest local producer of feature films and television programs), Domino Productions (specialized in the production of commercials), L!VE (specialized in event management) and Media Vision (specialized in the production of entertainment shows for television).
