Our knowledge and commitment to perfection recommended us as a
worthy partner for international productions like: Blood and
Chocolate, Callas Forever, Jacquou le Croquant, Modigliani, The
Seeker: The Dark Is Rising, Catacombs, Amen, Boudica, The Cave,
Philanthropy or California Dreamin' (Endless).
Our art directors have been involved in projects run by world-class
production designers like Giantito Burchiellaro (creator of the
French Street used in Modigliani), Christian Marti
(creator of the 18th Century French Village from Jacquou le
Croquant) and Bruno Cesari (creator of the sets for Callas
Forever). At the same time, our creative team is able to
handle complex projects independently - as was the case of Romanian
production designer Cristian Niculescu, responsible for the sets of
Town Creek.
Maria Callas' apartment for Callas Forever in 2002, the
French Street for Modigliani in 2003, an underwater set
for The Cave in 2004, an Absinthe Distillery for Blood
and Chocolate in 2005, the French Village for Jacquou le
Croquant in 2005 and an exterior manor, bridge and
park for The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising in 2007 are just a
few of the sets that our Studios have seen in recent years.
Building sets in locations outside the studio was another challenge
that we lived up to: Esplanada Chateau for Jacquou le Croquant, the
Chocolate Shop or the Dacian Club for Blood and Chocolate are just
some of them.
